Computer Vision Engineer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Assess customer requirements and develop tailored solutions for turnkey machine vision systems in manufacturing applications.
2. Evaluate and select appropriate lighting and optics to optimize the imaging front end.
3. Collect data from customer-provided samples for system analysis.
4. Prepare feasibility reports based on the gathered data and evaluations.
5. Integrate turnkey machine vision systems with robotics and automation equipment, performing necessary adjustments, troubleshooting, and debugging.
6. Travel to factory environments to install, support, and ensure machine vision systems are fully qualified and production-ready according to schedule.
7. Provide supervision at machine builder sites and contract manufacturer (CM) production locations as needed.
8. Assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for machine vision setups, train team members, and offer support during setup and maintenance.
9. Troubleshoot and analyze on-site issues, providing detailed failure analysis (FA) reports.
10. Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers to foster strong working relationships.
11. Deliver daily status updates, progress reports, and participate in regular meetings.
12. Respond quickly to issues, providing solutions and escalating when necessary.
13. Be willing to travel as needed to support various projects, which may include working in different cities or regions.
