Unibots, located in New Delhi, is a Next Generation Ad-Tech company focused on creating innovative monetization solutions for publishers globally. We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Content Proofreader to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that our written content is clear, accurate, and free from errors before it is published.
As a 'Content Proofreader', you will review a variety of written materials including articles, blog posts, marketing collateral, social media content, and more ensuring grammatical accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Your expertise will play a critical role in enhancing the quality and professionalism of the content we produce.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proofread and edit written content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax errors.
2. Ensure content flows logically and is easy to understand for the target audience.
3. Verify consistency in style, tone, and format according to company guidelines.
4. Review content for adherence to legal, ethical, and factual accuracy.
5. Collaborate with writers, editors, and content managers to clarify any ambiguities and make improvements.
6. Suggest revisions to improve the clarity, coherence, and overall readability of content.
7. Ensure all content complies with SEO best practices where applicable.
8. Check for consistency in brand voice across all content types.
9. Conduct fact-checking and verify sources as needed.
10. Manage multiple content projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
11. Maintain a high level of accuracy while maintaining an efficient work pace.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a content proofreader, editor, or similar role.
2. Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and style.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly.
4. Ability to maintain consistency in tone, voice, and formatting across multiple pieces of content.
5. Experience with SEO principles and content optimization is preferred.
6. Proficient in using proofreading and editing tools
7. Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
9. A degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
