About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Market analysis & strategy development:
- Research and analyze international markets for dry fruits and vegetables.
- Identify potential clients, distributors, and new export opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve export targets.

2. Sales & business development:
- Lead negotiations with international clients to secure long-term contracts.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while expanding the customer base.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, pricing strategies, and product demonstrations.

3. Export operations management:
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, documentation, and customs requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities.

4. Team leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives and export executives.
- Set sales targets, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback.

5. Client relations:
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.
- Provide after-sales support to build trust and repeat business.

6. Reporting & documentation:
Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis.
Maintain records of sales contracts, shipment details, and client communications.

Proven experience in sales, preferably in dry fruits, vegetables, or FMCG exports.

Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
