Nextburb is currently seeking data engineers who have the credibility and confidence to develop end-to-end use cases for a B2C product. We are looking for individuals who can iterate and ship code at a faster pace in an agile environment.
Key responsibilities:
1. Work on data cleanup and analysis on thousands of variables related to every neighborhood in the US
2. Constantly add new data that is relevant to our growing user base at nextburb.com/us
3. Design & develop code that conforms to design/technical specifications and API documentation
4. Participate and contribute to technical discussions that help add significant value to product/solution
5. Learn and leverage third-party map APIs and libraries to deliver code at speed and not reinvent the wheel
6. Constantly learn and bring new ideas/thoughts that can improve the product
7. Conduct unit testing/integration testing & performance testing to ensure code is well reviewed and provide a better experience to users
Requirements:
1. Strong computer science fundamental understanding of data structure and algorithms
2. Fairly proficient with python & SQL queries (this is a must)
3. Hands-on python programming and SQL is a must
4. Plus a great zeal to learn and develop their skill further
5. Fairly independent performer
6. Comfortable working in small teams to grow their career at a rapid pace

2. File handling concepts
3. Generators
4. Iterators
5. Pandas, Numpy, etc.
Annual CTC: ₹ 4,00,000 - 4,20,000 /year
Annual CTC breakup:
1. Fixed component: 75%
2. Variable component: 25%
