We are looking for a 'Data Engineer' with expertise in backend development, cloud technologies, and cloud-based application development. The ideal candidate should have experience in code development and the ability to collaborate with the development team to build efficient data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services for data pipelines.
2. Utilize cloud technologies to build scalable and efficient cloud-based applications.
3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for data processing and analytics.
4. Collaborate with the development team to integrate data solutions into applications.
5. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.
6. Debug and troubleshoot data-related issues and optimize system performance.
Required skills & qualifications:
1. 6-12 months of prior work experience in data engineering or backend development.
2. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or SQL.
3. Familiarity with cloud development and basic understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.
4. Good understanding of software development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
5. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
6. Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
7. Prior experience with software development projects, either through coursework, personal projects.
