Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain SQL Server databases
2. Install, configure, and upgrade database servers
3. Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions
4. Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
5. Ensure data security and access controls
6. Troubleshoot database issues and provide technical support
7. Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques
8. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement new database solutions
1. Candidates with minimum 2 years of experience.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
2. 3+ years of experience as a database administrator
3. Certification in SQL Server or related database technologies is a plus
4. Experience with cloud databases and platforms like Azure or AWS is an advantage
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a database administrator (DBA) or similar role
2. In-depth knowledge of SQL Server (2016, 2019) and T-SQL
3. Experience with database backup, recovery, performance tuning, and high-availability strategies
4. Strong understanding of database security practices
5. Familiarity with database management tools (e.g., SQL Server Management Studio, Azure Data Studio)
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Strong communication and teamwork abilities
