We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented design engineer with expertise in SolidWorks to join our team developing cutting-edge underwater drones. This role involves designing, prototyping, and optimizing mechanical and structural components for drones. As a design engineer, you will work closely with the R&D team.
Key responsibilities:
1. Conceptualize and design mechanical and structural components of drones.
2. Collaborate with electrical, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of sensors, batteries, and propulsion systems within the mechanical design.
3. Create prototypes and oversee fabrication processes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
4. Participate in testing and validation of designs in simulated or real underwater environments, iterating on designs based on test results and feedback.
5. Document design processes, maintain version control of design files, and prepare reports on design performance and improvements.
