Position Description
As a design engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative and
functional sheet metal, wood, and furniture designs using SolidWorks software. You will be
responsible for converting design concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications
for production.

Duties and Responsibilities
Design of product using Solid Works & Auto-CAD.
Managing documentation.
Communicating technically & commercially sensitive information on various internal & external platform.
Preparing Purchase Requisition (SAP).
Preparing Production Drawing, Assembly Drawing Etc.
Good knowledge in GD and T. Good knowledge in drawing creation for Casting,Sheet metal.
Able to determine and coordinate requirement from internal and external customers.
Studying and identifying opportunities for new product. Ability to Design new product.
Understanding of mechanical measuring tools.
Understand product compliance.
Ability to capture and specify the design requirements
Produce design ideas, based on research, into technical plans for prototypes using computer-aided design (CAD) and comp

Skills And Competencies
Good understanding of software like Solid Works & AutoCad 2D.
Basic of MS-Office.
Good knowledge of bending and fabrication.
Knowledge of reverse engineering.
Knowledge of material properties.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Should be conversant with AutoCAD , word, excel & having aptitude for Design work.
Awareness about ISO Quality Systems.
