Editorial Assistant Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with reviewers to assign research papers based on their subject specialization and area of study
2. Onboard new reviewers, ensuring they are well-versed in our review process and standards
3. Maintain an up-to-date database of reviewers, including their expertise, contact details, and review history
4. Follow up with reviewers to ensure timely completion of reviews and address any queries or issues they may have
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with reviewers to ensure their continued engagement and support
6. Receive and log research papers submitted by authors, ensuring they meet submission guidelines
7. Assign papers to appropriate reviewers and track the review process from submission to final decision
8. Communicate with authors regarding the status of their submissions and any required revisions
9. Assist with the preparation of manuscripts for publication, including proofreading and formatting as needed
10. Manage the day-to-day operations of the editorial office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
11. Handle correspondence with authors, reviewers, and editorial board members
12. Organize and schedule editorial meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes
13. Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required
14. Maintain accurate records and files related to the editorial process
