Electronics Hardware Test Engineer Job

We are a conservation technology company developing solutions for biodiversity monitoring, research, and conservation. Our current products aim to help protect and understand some of the last remaining natural environments and wildlife habitats, using technology.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyse and resolve hardware-related issues, providing quick and effective solutions.
2. Conduct hardware testing, debugging, and characterization to ensure performance and reliability.
3. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and manufacturing partners.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and vendors, to understand procurement requirements.
5. Small-scale in-lab assembly and internal experiments for triage
6. May require travel to deployment sites

Must-Have Requirements:

1. Proficiency in analyzing schematics and layouts from PCB design tools such as EAGLE, KiCAD, or similar.
2. Strong knowledge of embedded systems and PCB layout techniques.
3. Familiarity with hardware components, their specifications, and sourcing channels.
4. Prior experience in component procurement, PCB assembly, and testing.
5. Proficiency in soldering both through-hole and SMT components
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
7. Must be able to label and organize data in detail in spreadsheets.
8. Ability to analyse and solve hardware-related problems efficiently to meet deadlines.
9. Willingness to work full-time in an office environment from Monday to Saturday.
10. Open to relocating to Bangalore.

Working days: Monday - Saturday
Working hours: 10 AM to 7 PM with the ability to take meetings during late evenings and early mornings occasionally.
