Export Manager Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Identifying the manufacturer and buyers and closing deals after thorough consideration and discussion
2. Facilitating the end-to-end export process, with manufacturers and buyers and everyone in between, including order processing, documentation, shipping, and tracking
3. Preparing and reviewing export documents, such as business invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other essential paperwork
4. Liaising with freight forwarders and carriers to schedule shipments, negotiate rates, and monitor transportation arrangements
5. Developing competitive costing strategies in alignment with company objectives and market conditions
6. Negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders
7. Serving as a point of contact for international customers, addressing inquiries, providing shipping updates, and resolving any issues related to export orders
8. Identifying potential risks and challenges in the export process, such as customs delays, transportation issues, or regulatory changes
9. Staying updated with export regulations, trade agreements, and industry best practices
10. Monitoring and communicating changes in international trade policies to internal stakeholders
11. Conducting periodic audits to ensure adherence to export compliance guidelines
12. Building and maintaining strong relationships with international clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
