We are searching for a creative, fashion-forward fashion designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and overseeing the development of our clothing line. You would be required to develop fashion concepts, sketch designs, create samples, and oversee the garment production process. The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be detail-oriented, creative, and able to spot trends.
Key responsibilities:
1. Conduct market research and identify trends
2. Choose fabrics, trims, and design patterns
3. Create product sketches
4. Develop a design strategy and signature style
5. Collaborate with multiple departments throughout the design and development process
6. Oversee the fashion design process from conception to development
7. Analyze industry reports
1. Candidates with minimum 2 years of experience.
2. Those who are from or open to relocate to Bangalore
1. Designer with at least 2 years of experience
2. Proven work experience as a Fashion Designer or similar roleProficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator
3. Availability to travel for research and product development
4. Ability to do sketches by hand
5. Excellent design and conceptual skills
6. A bachelor’s degree in design or fine arts is preferred
7. Relevant training and/or certifications as a Fashion Designer
