Field Sales Engineer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Searching for new clients who could benefit from our products
2. Travelling to visit potential clients
3. Administering client accounts
4. Establishing new, and maintaining existing relationships with customers
5. Successfully matching customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
6. Persuading clients that our products or services will best satisfy their needs
7. Coordinating sales projects
8. Calculating client quotations and negotiating tender and contract terms
9. Negotiating and closing sales
10. Analysing costs and sales, and preparing reports
11. Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
12. Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
13. Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
14. Solving client problems
15. Providing training and producing support material
16. Collecting and documenting competitive intelligence
