The field sales executive is responsible for achieving sales targets through direct customer engagement in the field. This role involves generating leads, building relationships, and closing sales to drive revenue growth for the company.
Key responsibilities:
1. Achieve sales targets:
a. Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned by management.
b. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goals and increase market share.
2. Client acquisition and relationship management:
a. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients in the assigned territory.
b. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
3. Sales presentations and negotiations:
a. Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
b. Negotiate terms and close deals to achieve sales objectives and maximize revenue.
4. Market analysis and reporting:
a. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
b. Provide regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, and client feedback to management.
5. Customer service:
a. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
b. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through effective service and support.
6. Sales documentation and administration:
a. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions.
b. Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other required documentation.
7. Product knowledge and training:
a. Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
b. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance sales skills and product expertise.
1. Technical proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
2. Other: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
