About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify areas to pursue and understand the market to identify the short term and long term scope for each segment and the company as a whole. Identify the competition and the opportunities in the said areas.
2. Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media. Work with all departments to generate more leads to pursue.
3. Nurture a good client relationship and set up meetings with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and problems. In case of any complaints or objections from distributors/merchants, communicate to the reporting manager and find a solution that works for both parties.
4. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on the products. Be on point in communication to any vendors, distributors, merchants, super-stockist or any personnel regarding the products, its processing and the company.
5. Create reviews and reports with sales and financial data. Weekly documentation of all efforts is a must.
6. Collect the billing and sales data from the distributor/merchant on a monthly basis for internal purposes and analyze the positive or negative growth of the sales.
7. Ensure the availability of stock with the distributors and self for sales pitches and demonstrations.
8. Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
9. Work with the distributors to identify areas or shops with weak performance and deploy appropriate strategies to boost the sales.
10. Work with the Marketing department to promote on-ground sales. Make informed decisions on where and when these activities should be carried out.
11. Be actively involved in finding leads and converting bulk and export orders. Offer assistance in all steps of the way - verification of the buyer, communication of terms and payment, negotiation of the prices, communication with any vendors if needed.
