About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Sales strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for central vacuum systems and ventilation products in your designated area, aligned with the company's business objectives
2. Sales target achievement: Set and achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory, regularly monitoring and reporting on sales performance
3. Customer engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including architects, builders, contractors, and homeowners, to understand their requirements and offer suitable solutions
4. Product knowledge: Acquire an in-depth understanding of our central vacuum systems and ventilation products, staying updated on technical specifications, features, and benefits to effectively communicate these to customers
5. Technical consultation: Provide technical advice and solutions to customers, addressing their specific needs and demonstrating the value of our products
6. Market research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands. Use this knowledge to develop pricing and product strategies that can give us a competitive edge
7. Sales presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers, showcasing the advantages of our products
8. Sales support: Collaborate with the technical support team to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and concerns, and provide post-sale support as needed
9. Team collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience and address customer requirements effectively
10. Sales reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and feedback, and provide regular reports to management

Other requirements

A bachelor's degree in a technical field, and preferably an MBA from a reputed business school

Strong technical background and an aptitude for understanding complex technical products

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers

Proven sales and negotiation skills, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets

Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic

Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed

Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

Previous sales experience of 6 months to a year or a background in selling technical products is a plus but not mandatory

Annual CTC: ₹ 3,00,000 - 4,00,000 /year
