Reports To: Project Head

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Financial Management professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial accounting principles, as well as experience in implementing and managing financial management systems.

Key responsibilities:

1. Carry out the work of necessary reforms in the current accounting system of ULBs and implementing financial management.
2. Prepare the cash book related to all grants received from the state and central government under various heads.
3. Prepare grant/subsidiaries registers for all Grants like 15 Finance, HFA, etc.
4. Work to implement vouchers (bills) and other necessary reforms in accordance with the Bihar Municipal Accounting Rules, 2014 and Accounting Manual.
5. Prepare the realistic budget in accordance with the Bihar Municipal Accounting Rules and Budget Manual.
6. Implement the provisions of the Bihar Municipal Act 2007,
7. Work to increase property tax and other internal revenue and give suggestions.
8. Provide training in internal revenue generation and accounting.
9. Prepare responses to audit objections (C&AG, Finance Department, and CA audit).

Qualifications

1. B.com, M.com, MBA Finance, or a related field
2. 2+ years of experience in finance account & tax
3. Strong understanding of financial accounting(Tax) principles and procedures
4. Experience in implementing and managing financial management systems.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to work independently and a team.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills
