Finance Executive Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Prepare and manage financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
2. Conduct detailed analysis of financial performance, trends, and forecasts
3. Assist in creating budgets and financial plans for the company
4. Monitor actual expenses against the budget and report variances
5. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and local regulations
6. Handle payroll, tax filings (TDS, GST), and statutory compliance
7. Analyze cost structures and implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
8. Oversee and control operational costs, ensuring optimal utilization of resources
9. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and vendor payments
10. Oversee invoice management and track receivables from clients
11. Assist in the fundraising process and coordinate with external investors
12. Manage and optimize company cash flow, working capital, and financial investments

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
2. 1-4 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in startups
3. Strong understanding of financial concepts and technical terms (e.g., P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, etc.)
4. Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and Excel proficiency
5. Experience with tax compliance, audits, and statutory filings (e.g., TDS, GST, PF)
6. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
7. Good communication skills and attention to detail
8. Proactive approach to work, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines
