We are seeking a skilled Senior Fitter with a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience for a mid-level, full-time position. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and hands-on experience in fitting and maintenance tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
Possess an ITI Fitter certification, demonstrating proficiency in industrial fitting processes and techniques.
Proven experience in maintenance and installation of transformers, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Practical knowledge of DG sets, including routine checks and servicing to ensure efficient operation.
Hands-on experience with motors, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting various types of motors.
Proficiency in gearbox maintenance and repair, ensuring efficient and timely intervention in case of malfunctions.
Experience in handling various types of pumps, with the ability to perform routine maintenance and necessary repairs.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and fix technical problems effectively.
Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity, necessary for handling heavy equipment and tools in a safe manner.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance and repair tasks on transformers, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting to detect malfunctions in generators and motors, implementing effective solutions.
Maintain and repair gearboxes and pumps, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation within facilities.
Work closely with engineering teams to analyze specifications and interpret technical drawings for installations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards during all maintenance activities.
Maintain detailed maintenance records for all equipment, ensuring accurate logs for future reference and compliance.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and resolve technical issues promptly.
Continuously update and improve skills through training and technical workshops as directed by management.
