Food Quality Control Manager Job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain facility quality systems
2. Oversee food sanitation and safety
3. Maintain systems for checking and verifying process compliance to SPC, HACCP Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan, and Formula Control
4. Ensure effective training in food safety and quality control training for plant team members
5. Report findings of quality control audit to the Management
6. Troubleshoot food safety and quality issues as they arise
7. Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant
8. Oversee materials and inventory
9. Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management
10. Setting up of new/ advanced food processing machines.
11. Training team in food processing & food safety.
12. Managing FSSC22K/FSSCAI/Organic documentation, audit, and certification


Skill, Qualification & Requirements:

1. Bachelor/ Master Degree in Science degree, with an emphasis on food science, food engineering, chemistry, or related field
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Strong skills in budget development and oversight
4. Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
5. Strong Interpersonal Skills
