Accountant Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage daily, weekly, and month-end accounting activities, including accounts receivable and payable
2. Update Tally regularly, reconcile bank and ledger accounts, maintain bookkeeping, and finalize accounts
3. Prepare financial statements, periodic MIS reports, and maintain fixed assets records in Excel
4. Ensure timely compliance with all statutory payments (TDS, GST, PF, ESI, PT) and file returns
5. Have knowledge of Income Tax, especially regarding TDS and advance tax payments
6. Possess good knowledge of GST, particularly regarding input tax credit and filing GST returns
7. Make entries on Tally for purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and generate E-Way bills
8. Prepare debtors' and creditors' statements and reconcile ledgers weekly
9. Handle tax payments and refund claims efficiently
10. Manage vendors and oversee bill payments
11. Maintain stock inventory in Tally

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
2. Proficient in MS Excel and the latest version of Tally ERP
3. Experience in E-commerce, FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, or product-based companies preferred
4. Proficient in spoken and written English
5. Freshers or candidates with 1-year experience in the accounting field
6. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a relevant field.
