Accountant Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
2. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant accounting standards
3. Perform reconciliations of bank statements, vendor accounts, and other financial records
4. Monitor compliance with statutory requirements such as Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Tally or similar accounting software
6. Prepare and process monthly payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and other benefits
7. Collaborate with auditors during the annual audit process and provide necessary documentation and support as required
8. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices, implementing them as necessary
9. Assist in maintaining financial records accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures
10. Support accounts payable and receivable functions by verifying and processing invoices, payments, and receipts
11. Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
12. Help with the preparation of budgets and forecasts under the supervision of senior accountants
13. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes
14. Assist in conducting audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
15. Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed
