We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced 'Accountant' to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and practical experience using Zoho Books and other Zoho finance modules. You will be key in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
I. Accounting & Financial Management:
Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries.
Process accounts payable/receivable and handle invoicing.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial reporting.
II. Zoho System Management:
Manage and utilize Zoho Books for daily accounting tasks.
Generate financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Integrate Zoho with other business processes for seamless data management.
III. Taxation & Compliance:
Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns, in guidance of our CA
Ensure compliance with Indian tax laws and financial regulations.
Support in audits and liaise with auditors as required.
IV. Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring financial performance against projections.
Provide insights into cost-saving opportunities and financial improvements.
V. Administrative Support:
Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions.
Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
Key Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2. 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
3. Proficiency in Zoho Books and familiarity with other Zoho finance tools.
4. Strong understanding of Indian tax laws and compliance requirements.
5. Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
6. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
7. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
