About the job

Key responsibilities:

A. Financial management:
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
2. Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
3. Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash
4. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets
5. Assist with tax filings and audits

B. Accounts payable and receivable:
1. Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing and payment
2. Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and maintain customer accounts

C. Payroll:
1. Assist in processing employee payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
2. Maintain payroll records and resolve any payroll-related queries

D. Administrative support:
1. Provide general administrative support to various departments
2. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
3. Maintain office supplies and equipment
4. Assist in onboarding new employees and maintain HR records

E. Compliance:
1. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
2. Assist in implementing internal controls to safeguard financial asset

F. Communication:
1. Liaise with external partners, including vendors, clients, and regulatory authorities
2. Communicate effectively with colleagues and team members
3. Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial records
4. Assist in troubleshooting administrative problems and propose solutions

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
2. Proven experience in accounting or finance roles
3. Familiarity with accounting software and tools (e.g. Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel)
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills
6. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
8. Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
9. Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in administrative roles
2. Familiarity with office management software (e.g., Tally, Microsoft Office Suite)
3. Knowledge of relevant tax regulations
