We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Associate Accountant with expertise in New Zealand accounting practices and proficiency in Xero and Practice Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finalizing financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, and providing valuable insights to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate proficiency in New Zealand accounting principles and regulations
2. Utilize Xero and Practice Manager to manage client accounts effectively
3. Review general ledger entries to enhance accuracy, prevent errors, and identify necessary adjustments
4. Prepare Xero workpapers post adjustments, ensuring completeness and accuracy
5. Generate financial statements in Xero and perform consolidations after reconciling general ledger accounts
6. Prepare GST Returns on a monthly, two-monthly, and six-monthly basis for clients
7. Develop and maintain GST, Income tax, and wage reconciliation sheets in Excel for accurate reporting and analysis
8. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
9. Provide exceptional client service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles

6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Salary
Duration: 1 month
Salary during probation: ₹10,000 - 20,000 /month
After probation:
