Key responsibilities:

1. Develop, test, and maintain server-side logic, API, console applications and services
2. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
3. Implement data storage solutions and ensure data integrity and security
4. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
5. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance
6. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement practices

Other requirements

1. 6 months to 1 year of experience in backend development using Node.js

2. Proficiency in Python would be an added advantage

4. Knowledge of database systems like MongoDB and Redis

5. Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation

6. Basic understanding of encryption methods viz. AES and RSA

7. Proficiency with JSON

8. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git

9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

10. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

11. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
