Job Description: We are seeking a Bioinformatician to support our research team in analyzing and interpreting biological and molecular data. The ideal candidate should have experience in bioinformatics along with a strong background in molecular biology. This position is open to freshers with relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze large-scale biological datasets, including genomic and proteomic data.
2. Develop and apply bioinformatics tools and pipelines for molecular data analysis.
3. Work closely with molecular biologists to interpret results and derive meaningful insights.
4. Perform sequence analysis, gene expression profiling, and structural bioinformatics studies.
5. Develop and maintain databases for biological data storage and retrieval.
6. Utilize programming languages like Python, R, or Perl for data analysis.
7. Ensure data integrity, quality control, and reproducibility of results.
8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in bioinformatics and computational biology.
Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
2. Freshers with relevant experience in bioinformatics and molecular biology are encouraged to apply.
3. Proficiency in bioinformatics tools, databases, and algorithms.
4. Knowledge of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis and genome annotation.
5. Experience in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques is a plus.
6. Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Perl.
