We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Business Analyst to join our growing Business Development and Strategy team. As a Junior Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in identifying opportunities to drive the Organization level business work, and assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional who is passionate about technology and eager to embark on a career in the Insurtech industry. As a Business Analyst, you will have a front seat and gain a 360-degree view of business and Org growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in Market Research for various contexts for internal and external teams.
2. Assist the Business Development Lead and Manager in their day-to-day functions - such as and not limited to internal and external deliverables.
3. Conduct research and analysis to support the development of business solutions and strategy.
4. Assist in creating and maintaining documentation such as business requirements documents, use cases, and process flows.
5. Participate in meetings, workshops, and interviews to elicit requirements and gather feedback.
6. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders.
7. Update & maintain internal databases for Marketing, BizDev, & Standardization purposes
8. Support in design & implementation of BizDev & Marketing content to develop brand awareness, promotion & market presence, etc.
9. Collaborate with another team to understand customers & organizational needs from BizDev & Marketing context to ensure that initiatives meet deadlines, & organizational standards
10. Stay up to date with current technologies & trends in social media, design tools, & application
11. Continuously improve knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
12. Any other role or function within the purview of the Biz Dev Team.
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a premium college or university.
2. 0-2 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
3. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to think in patterns, connect the dots, collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
5. Basic understanding of business processes and systems is good to have.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is good to have.
7. Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools is a plus.
