Business Development Associate Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Support in identifying new sources and conducting soft analysis
2. Develop sourcing strategies as required for commodities assigned
3. Serve as the primary contact with regional suppliers, lead RFP/RFQ/quote submission/quote analysis/negotiation process
4. Conduct supplier visits/audits for regional suppliers
5. Negotiate commercials and contracts with potential sources
6. Scout brands, create leads for prospective business opportunities, commercial discussions & negotiations
7. Maintain a healthy business development funnel & update regularly
8. Understand client requirements & onboard brands accordingly to ensure the business interests of the partner brands

Qualifications & skills:

1. Bachelor s degree or graduation in engineering, or post-graduation diploma in operations/supply chain
2. General computer proficiency with MS 365 or equivalent collaboration tools (MS Excel, PowerBI, etc.)
3. Exposure to direct/indirect supplier base in India
4. Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
5. Excellent presentation skills
6. Analytical & problem-solving skills, agile and adaptable
7. Exposure to spend analytics and opportunity assessment
8. Good understanding of the sourcing & procurement domain (Good experience in sourcing/purchasing/procurement process of business development for new brands)
9. Must be self-driven and organized
10. Planning skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
