Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Business Development Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving customer engagement, managing key communications, and contributing to the expansion of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead engagement: Reach out to leads generated through our app and website, driving customer acquisition.
2. Customer service: Deliver exceptional customer support and ensure seamless communication with clients.
3. Scheduling: Handle incoming inquiries and efficiently schedule scrap pickups.
4. Admin & communication: Manage our WhatsApp Business account and provide administrative support for smooth operations.
5. Enterprise outreach: Initiate cold calls to potential enterprise clients and foster new business relationships.
Who should apply?
1. Experience: 0-2 years in business development, sales, or customer service, preferably in a startup or dynamic environment.
2. Skills: Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
3. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

ScrapUncle (formerly Swapeco) is an App/Website where users can schedule a doorstep pickup for their junk items like paper, metals, plastics, electronic waste, etc., and get paid for the same. We were featured and funded on Shark Tank India Season 2. We have completed 50,000 pickups in Delhi NCR and sent around 2.5 million kgs of junk and recyclables to recycling units. We are also the winners of the Urban Works Challenge hosted by Columbia University.
