About the job

Key responsibilities:

Shift: 9 pm to 6 am (onsite)

1. Work on vendor outreach: Proactively identify and reach out to potential vendors via email, phone calls, website inquiries, and other relevant platforms to introduce our e-commerce business model and onboard them successfully.
2. Work on onboarding & conversion: Engage with vendors to understand their product offerings and business goals, and convert them into active sellers on our platform by meeting set targets.
3. Work on negotiations: Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors, including pricing, shipping, payment terms, and other key contractual elements, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
4. Handle relationship management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors, providing support and resolving any issues to foster ongoing partnerships.
5. Work on collaboration: Work closely with the e-commerce and sales teams to align vendor offerings with market demand and promotional strategies, driving increased sales.
6. Work on market research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new potential vendors, and competitive analysis to continuously improve the onboarding process.
7. Handle reporting: Maintain accurate records of vendor interactions, agreements, and performance metrics, and provide regular reports on onboarding progress and sales generation.

Other requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in business development, vendor management, or sales, preferably within the e-commerce industry.

3. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and close deals.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

5. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM tools.

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,00,000 /year
