About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identifying Opportunities: Researching and identifying potential business opportunities and leads. This involves market research, analyzing industry trends, and understanding competitor strategies.
2. Generating Leads: Prospecting for new clients or customers through various channels such as networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and attending industry events.
3. Building Relationships: Establishing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients. This includes regular follow-ups, meetings, and building a network of contacts.
4. Developing Proposals: Creating and presenting proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential clients or partners. This involves understanding client needs and tailoring solutions to meet those needs.
5. Negotiating Contracts: Negotiating terms and conditions of business deals and contracts. This often requires working closely with legal and finance teams to ensure agreements are beneficial for the company.
6. Monitoring Industry Trends: Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
7. Collaborating with Teams: Working with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and product development to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
8. Reporting and Analytics: Tracking and reporting on business development activities, sales pipeline progress, and performance metrics. This helps in evaluating the effectiveness of strategies and making necessary adjustments.
9. Customer Feedback: Gathering and analyzing feedback from clients to improve services or products and address any issues that may arise.
10. Strategic Planning: Contributing to the development of business strategies and goals. This may involve setting targets, creating business plans, and identifying areas for growth.
11. Event Participation: Representing the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
12. Training and Development: Occasionally participating in or organizing training sessions for sales teams or new business development staff to share knowledge and best practices
