ScrapUncle is an online platform in India that makes it easy to sell junk like e-waste, paper, cartons, plastics, and metals. You can use our app or website to book a pickup right from your doorstep, and we'll pay you for it. We've completed over 100,000 pickups in the Delhi NCR area, recycling more than 10 million kilograms of waste. We were also featured and funded on Shark Tank Season 2.
We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Business Development Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving customer engagement, managing key communications, and contributing to the expansion of our business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Identification: Research potential customers through channels like LinkedIn, email, and industry databases.
2. Cold Calling: Initiate phone and email outreach to introduce our scrap collection services and generate interest.
3. Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify leads to determine suitability and interest, setting appointments with branding or marketing experts.
4. Field Visits: Conduct field visits to provide payout estimates to customers.
5. Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with potential customers, keeping them engaged and informed through follow-up communications.
6. CRM Management: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and progress in the CRM system.
Who should apply?
1. Experience: 0-2 years in business development, sales, or customer service, preferably in a startup or dynamic environment.
2. Skills: Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
3. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
