About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop business in the energy sector
2. Identify current and future customer service requirements
3. Prepare and deliver technical presentations
4. Provide sales support
5. Solve problems of clients
6. Provide technical information and training
7. Make quotations
8. Source potential new customers
9. Maintain regular contact with existing customers
10. Travel to the customer's location to talk about our product range
11. Demonstrate the technical features and benefits of our products
12. Advise customers on technology upgrades and related products
13. Compose tender documents and customer proposals
14. Generate purchase orders and sales receipts
15. Maintain strong customer relations
16. Attend product training courses and seminars
17. Meet sales targets
18. Forecast sales opportunities/bookings for annual operating plans/budgets
19. Market Intelligence: Gathering both technical and commercial information including competition strategies is an important part of this assignment
20. Work in line with the company's compliance and business conduct guidelines
21. Establish, maintain, and improve customer contacts, customer relationships, and communication
22. Work on new customer acquisition
23. Coordinate with the technical team to offer the best technical & commercial solutions for our customers

Other requirements

1. Demonstrated working knowledge of power plant operations, electricity, and gas markets

2. Proficiency in fundamental energy market analysis, capacity markets, environmental markets, demand side management/energy efficiency, and electric utility resource planning approaches

3. Proven ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and analysis verbally, in document format (Word), and presentation format (PowerPoint)

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and learn new techniques

5. Capability to articulate business problems, quickly identify critical elements, achieve high-quality answers in a timely manner, and synthesize findings to resonate with decision-makers

6. Excellent communication skills, including strong verbal, presentation, and technical writing abilities

7. Team player with the ability to be a self-starter and work independently as needed

8. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Energy/Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or MBA

Salary
Duration: 6 months
Salary during probation: ₹25,000 - 30,000 /month (only for freshers)
After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 3,00,000 - 7,00,000 /year
