Business Development Specialist Job

Job Overview:
LogIQids, an IIT-IIM alumni initiative, is an ed-tech venture focused on developing and enhancing important 21st-century skills in K-9 children. Started in 2016, the company works with over 2000 schools across India and UAE and is keen to expand its presence across geographies. Unlike several other ed-techs, the company is committed to creating impact and improving the quality of education at the primary school level. We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Business Development Managers to join our team and help us execute our mission faster. The goal is to collaborate with more schools while maintaining strong relationships with the existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage end-to-end school accounts which involve
2. Cold-calling schools and setting up meetings
3. Attending meetings
4. Following up with the school and signing them up for LogIQids programs
5. Maintain strong relations with the schools post-closure
6. Work closely with the operations team and schools to ensure the smooth execution of the entire program
7. Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives.
8. Identifying references through the existing customer base to increase the sales pipeline

Skills Required:

1. A genuine passion for education and helping learners develop logical reasoning skills
2. Being interested in solving business and customer issues through strong lines of communication and presence of mind
3. An inherent ability to position, market, and sell an idea or product will be a key skill set
4. Proficiency in MS Office
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
6. Ability to build rapport
7. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
8. Time management, multitasking, and planning skills will be extremely critical
