We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure that they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and a proven track record in supervising construction teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
2. Monitor work progress, schedule, and quality, providing guidance and support to construction teams.
3. Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address any issues that arise during construction.
5. Review project plans and specifications, providing input and recommendations for improvements.
6. Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily reports, time sheets, and materials used.
7. Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and laborers to enhance team performance.
8. Ensure that all construction work meets industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2) Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
3) Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
4) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
5) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
6) Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
