Devops Engineer (AWS) Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage and optimize six or more Kubernetes environments, including service creation and deployment, performance monitoring and troubleshooting, and upgrading Kubernetes clusters and applications
2. Administer the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools by creating and maintaining build and deploy jobs and monitoring pipelines for errors to ensure smooth operation
3. Oversee artifacts and container lifecycle management by ensuring smooth operation of Artifactory Manager and Docker Registry and optimizing performance of container image storage and retrieval
4. Manage Kubernetes version control and product upgrades by planning and executing upgrades to Kubernetes and application versions and providing troubleshooting support for upgrade-related issues
5. Conduct Proof of Concepts for new services and tools by evaluating new technologies for potential integration and integrating approved solutions into existing Kubernetes environments while assessing their impact on performance and stability
6. Perform continuous monitoring of infrastructure and application logs by proactively monitoring various metrics and telemetry data to identify trends and potential issues, drawing conclusions from monitoring data and making recommendations for improvements, proactively scaling resources and implementing fixes to prevent downtime or performance degradation, and responding promptly to incident management alerts
7. Manage AWS and similar cloud infrastructure by utilizing relevant cloud services for efficient resource management and ensuring consistent configuration and operation across environments
8. Handle intermediate Linux and file systems management including administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
9. Manage intermediate-level MySQL and Postgres databases (hosted and self-managed) including administration, backup, and recovery
10. Utilize scripting and programming languages with Bash scripting essential for automation tasks and proficiency in Python as a plus
11. Work with version control systems with experience in Git or similar version control preferred
