About the job

Coverage Area: Mylapore, Thiruvanmiyur and Adyar

Key Responsibilities: -

A. Customer Relationship Management:
1. Update the Doctor List on an ongoing basis & identify new potential doctors from your assigned territory.
2. Correct brand matrix through effective RCPA.
3. Identify influencing factors for Doctors: Early adopter of a molecule/ knowledge oriented / service minded (CRM), etc.
4. Collect & enter personal details of doctors & assess current share of prescription.
5. Enquire about competitor activity on doctors.
6. Plan the visit as per divisional need like one/two /three visits.
7. Open call effectively, seek/demand for Rx product and close the call AFTB way.
8. Detailing with VAF/LBL/inputs effectively.
9. Clarify doubts/objections and use right references.

B. Chemist Management:
1. Identify all potential chemists in your assigned territory and meet all chemists at the right frequency/intervals.
2. Find out the availability of stocks for products & enquire about short-expiry products.
3. Find out competitor sales by brand name.
4. Inform all chemists about the bonuses and special schemes offered by the organization.

C. Stockiest Management:
1. Collect the list of distributors and record the details of the owner/manager.
2. Inform all stockiest about the bonus & special schemes offered by the organization.
3. Provide details of batches supplied and payment methodology.
4. Prepare a list of chemists/hospitals/doctors where supplies are made.
5. Generate Stock & Block (S&B) orders from specific customers to boost sales.
6. Visit the nominated stockiest regularly and follow division requirements.
7. Follow up for billing of orders & due payments.
8. Help the stockiest liquidate overstocked products.
9. Enquire about the status of payment from chemists where POB is supplied.

D. Generating demands:
1. Visit every doctor-on-doctor List at the right frequency as per plan.
2. Plan detailing for the brands accurately.
3. Consistently demand prescriptions from the doctor for the products.
4. Provide all planned inputs to doctors on time.
5. Politely sensitize doctors when prescriptions are declining.
6. Take POB from the mapped chemists for the right stock availability.

1. Education: Professional Graduation in Pharmacy or Science

2. Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of sales

3. Required pre-requisite skills/experience for this position: Proficiency with MS Office & Basic selling skills.
