The Area Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets in the designated area. This role requires managing relationships with distributors, retailers, and key clients, ensuring market penetration, and identifying growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales target achievement:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals within the assigned area.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
2. Market penetration:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
3. Customer relationship management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key clients.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
4. Sales planning and reporting:
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Monitor and track sales performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
5. Team collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to implement promotional activities and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely product availability and delivery.
6. Field visits:
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor sales activities and gather market intelligence.
- Provide training and support to the sales team and channel partners.
