Key responsibilities:

1. Create sketches or renderings which are representations on paper or a computer that provide a visual representation of design concepts
2. Work on the design and development of unique designs
3. Work on the development of tangible models of their designs
4. Determine production costs by analyzing materials and manufacturing demands
5. Work to investigate suitable materials and manufacturing procedures
6. Create sketches and design samples with open-source fundamental software
