We are seeking an experienced interior design project manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of interior design projects from concept to completion. The role requires strong leadership, effective client communication, and collaboration with designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery. Applicants must possess excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of design and construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project planning & coordination: Develop project timelines, set milestones, and coordinate with design teams, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to deadlines.
2. Client interaction: Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations, providing regular updates, and ensuring their design vision is understood and implemented.
3. Budget & resource management: Track project budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure all resources are allocated efficiently, maintaining cost control throughout the project.
4. Team leadership: Lead and mentor design and construction teams, assigning tasks, resolving issues, and ensuring collaboration between departments.
5. Quality control & site supervision: Conduct site visits to ensure that work is progressing according to plans and that the quality and safety standards are being met.
6. Problem-solving: Quickly address and resolve any design, logistical, or construction issues that may arise during the course of the project.
7. Documentation & reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and progress reports, and communicate this information effectively with all stakeholders.
8. Vendor & contractor liaison: Coordinate with external vendors, fabricators, and contractors for materials procurement and installation, ensuring timely and correct delivery.
This role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on involvement to ensure every project is delivered successfully.
