We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong portfolio, and the ability to transform client visions into functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
2. Develop and present design concepts, including floor plans, color schemes, and material selections.
3. Create detailed drawings and specifications for interior layouts using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
4. Source and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that align with project goals.
5. Prepare mood boards and visual presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
6. Manage multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
7. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure design intent is realized during execution
8. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any design-related issues.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technology to incorporate innovative ideas into designs.
Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
2) Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
3) Excellent understanding of color theory, space planning, and materials.
4) Strong communication and presentation skills.
5) Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
6) Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and sustainable design practices is a plus.
