About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, test, and maintain firmware for a variety of hardware platforms including Arduino, ESP32, NRF5x, and Raspberry Pi.
2. Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate and optimize firmware for new and existing products.
3. Implement and manage communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and MQTT.
4. Design and develop firmware with a focus on low-power and high-efficiency operations.
5. Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues, ensuring reliability and performance.
6. Work with wireless communication technologies such as Zigbee, BLE Mesh, and Thread.
7. Document firmware development processes, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
8. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Other requirements

A. Requirements:

1. Proven hands-on experience with hardware platforms including Arduino, ESP32, NRF5x, and Raspberry Pi.

2. Proficiency in programming languages C, C++, and Python.

3. Strong knowledge of hardware communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and MQTT.

4. Experience with wireless communication technologies like Zigbee, BLE Mesh, or Thread is a plus point.

5. Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).

6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to document technical information clearly.

B. Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.

2. Experience with version control systems such as Git.

3. Understanding of IoT security practices and protocols.
