Jr. Prototyping Engineer Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Calibrate, operate and maintain the in-house prototyping lab equipped with CNC routers, FDM 3D printers, lathe, and other fabrication tools
2. Generate test data for the tools maintained in the lab
3. Implement a fast and aggressive iterative prototyping approach to ensure the highest quality standards for product rollouts
4. Identify and implement design improvements for the prototyping lab and existing machines
5. Learn and adapt to the operation, maintenance, and calibration of new equipment
6. Contact and coordinate with vendors for managing and improve the procurement, fabrication, and assembly processes
7. Strictly adhere to safety guidelines without compromise
8. Document project details and develop quality standards for future projects, providing reference materials for other staff in the organization

Job Requirements:

1. Experience with CAD and CAM software, specifically Solidworks or Fusion 360 by Autodesk
2. Hands-on experience and knowledge of the following machines - CNC Machine, FDM 3D Printers, Lathe and Power Tools
3. Ability to learn new equipment operation, maintenance, and calibration
4. Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and manage procurement processes
5. Adherence to safety guidelines and standards
6. Proficiency in documenting projects and developing quality standards
7. Advanced design proficiency in Solidworks/Fusion 360, with experience taking concepts from ideation to production
8. Experience in creating a fully functional robot
9. Hands-on experience and knowledge of agricultural equipment
