Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Accounts and Admin staff member. The successful candidate will assist in various accounting and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the organization. This role requires a strong ability to handle numbers accurately, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude towards tasks. The Junior Accounts and Admin will work closely with senior accountants and administrators to support day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry, invoicing, and reconciliation.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Support the senior accounting team in various tasks as needed.
Handle administrative duties including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
Assist in answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling inquiries.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
Help with general office management tasks to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Prior experience in accounting or finance is preferred but not required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new software and systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
