About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Contribute to discussions related to story ideas and planning PR campaigns
2. To develop content and draft quotes
3. Pitch story ideas to the media effectively
4. Prepare a competition/peer group scan
5. Scan the latest print and online news to identify relevant story ideas for clients
6. Understand Social media platforms
7. Ability to draft social media posts and find relevant tags and hashtags (this does not involve preparing creative or design content)
8. Maintain and update the list of relevant journalists and publications
9. Prepare media pitch notes
10. Understand new age media platforms like Twitter Spaces, podcasts, etc.
11. Maintain & build relationships with leading media professionals
12. Prepare a monthly & quarterly review
