Junior Merchandiser Fresher Job

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Apparel Merchandiser to assist in the coordination of product development, sourcing, and merchandising processes. The ideal candidate should have a passion for fashion and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay updated on trends, pricing, and consumer preferences.
2. Liaise with clients.
3. Handle purchase orders, and invoices, and track the status of all deliveries.
4. Buyer sourcing and product development coordination.
5. Prepare cost sheets and conduct fabric, trims, and embellishment consumption calculations for production.
6. Create and share regular status reports on production progress.
7. Compile reconciliation reports after the completion of production and shipments.
8. Analyze customer requirements from tech packs and ensure timely delivery of samples according to specifications.
9. Help manage product sampling, from initial concept through final approval, ensuring quality standards are met.
10. Regularly communicate with suppliers and job workers to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree/diploma in fashion merchandising, apparel design, business, or a related field.
2. 0-1 years of experience in apparel merchandising or a related role is preferred.*
3. Strong understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and garment construction.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and merchandising software/tools.
5. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Familiarity with supply chain processes is a plus.
