GeekyBones Lab Pvt Ltd is looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for identifying bugs, ensuring software functionality, and improving user experience. This role requires working in rotational shifts, ensuring 24/7 testing support for our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute test cases (manual and automated) to ensure software quality.
2. Identify, document, and report bugs and defects in tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
3. Work closely with developers and project managers to resolve issues.
4. Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
5. Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.
6. Analyze test results and provide improvement suggestions.
7. Support testing across different devices, browsers, and platforms.
8. Collaborate with the team during different shift schedules.
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
2. 0-2 years of experience in software testing (freshers with a strong understanding of QA concepts are welcome).
3. Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, Postman, or JMeter is a plus.
4. Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Good communication skills and attention to detail.
7. Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts, if required).
