About the role:
As a 'Junior Tech Support', your role is to provide technical assistance and support to merchants who are experiencing issues with a product, service, or system. Your primary goal is to ensure that the merchant's problems are resolved efficiently and effectively, ultimately enhancing their satisfaction and overall experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshooting: You will analyze and diagnose technical issues reported by Merchants, utilizing your expertise to identify the root cause of the problem and find appropriate solutions.
2. Customer assistance: You will communicate with merchants through various channels (such as phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems) to understand their concerns, gather relevant information, and provide guidance and step-by-step instructions to resolve their issues.
3. Issue resolution: Using your technical knowledge, you will work to resolve the merchant's issues promptly. This may involve remotely accessing their systems, walking them through troubleshooting steps, or coordinating with other technical teams to find solutions.
4. Documentation: It is important to maintain accurate and detailed records of merchant interactions, including the steps taken to resolve their issues. This documentation helps in creating knowledge bases, FAQs, and training materials for future reference.
