About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Install and configure CWDM/DWDM systems and manage fiber backbone operations
2. Operate and configure cross-connections in Data Centers
3. Utilize network devices such as Junos, Cisco, Huawei, and Mikrotik
4. Configure and manage routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, LACP, L3 VPN, VPLS
5. Implement and manage TACACS+, SNMP, Firewall, and Filters
6. Understand and work with Internet Exchanges, Internet Service Providers, and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
7. Monitor and troubleshoot network hardware, data center operations, DWDM, CWDM, and fiber technology
8. Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, ticketing, and provide customer technical assistance
9. Collaborate with peering partners, vendors, and CDNs on network service analysis and performance tuning
10. Manage network device inventory and ensure availability for remote DC night activity
11. Support network operations by determining problems and troubleshooting network incidents
12. Visit sites occasionally for maintenance work
13. Provide technical support for network implementations as needed
14. Work in a rotational shift as part of a team

Other requirements

1. A bachelors degree in computer science or telecommunications, or substantiation of exceptional ability for the role

2. Fresher with networking knowledge or 1+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, and Mikrotik

3. Complete knowledge and installation experience of CWDM/DWDM, fiber backbone operations, and cross-connection in Data Centers

4. Configure and deploy networking devices such as servers, routers, switches, and firewalls

5. In-depth knowledge of BGP, OSPF, Data Center Operations, DWDM, and fiber technology

6. Knowledge of ISP, peering, ILL, and data center connectivity and operations

7. Network-related certification (e.g., CCNP/CCIE) is highly desirable

8. Excellent communication, writing, and conflict-handling skills with customers and internal team members

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,00,000 - 2,50,000 /year
